Terms of Service

These Terms are the agreement between you and SweetHolo for using the SweetHolo app and website. By using SweetHolo, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Who can use SweetHolo

• You must be at least 13 years old.
• You're responsible for your account and everything done under it — keep your sign-in secure.
• We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for your own collecting.

What SweetHolo is

SweetHolo is a tool to catalog, scan, value, organize, trade, and share trading cards across many games. It helps you track your collection and connect with other collectors. It is not a store, a broker, an appraiser, or a financial service.

Your content

Your collection, photos, notes, and other content are yours. You grant us the limited, worldwide license we need to host, store, process, and display them so the app works — including showing them to you, and to people you choose to share with.

You're responsible for what you upload. Don't upload content that's illegal, infringes someone's rights, or that you don't have the right to share.

Sharing and public content

You can make your profile, a portfolio, your favorites, a trade, or an event shareable. When you do, that content becomes viewable by others — in some cases by anyone who has the link. Only share what you're comfortable making visible, and remember you can make it private again.

Trades, events, and meeting other people

Trades, meetups, and events happen directly between users. SweetHolo is not a party to those interactions, doesn't verify users, cards, prices, or venues, and isn't responsible for them.

Use good judgment: meet in safe, public places, verify what you're trading, and follow the rules of any venue or event. You interact with other users at your own risk.

Acceptable use

Please use SweetHolo fairly. Don't:

• break the law, or use the app to harm, harass, spam, defraud, or impersonate others;
• scrape, bulk-download, resell, or redistribute our card data, images, or pricing;
• attempt to disrupt, probe, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service;
• upload malware or infringing content, or misuse trades, events, or sharing.

Card values are estimates — not financial advice

Card prices, market values, price history, and sold data in SweetHolo are estimates compiled from third-party sources and are provided "as is," with no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, or timeliness.

They are for your reference only and are not financial, investment, tax, or appraisal advice. We are not a licensed financial advisor. Don't rely on them for buying, selling, insuring, or other financial decisions.

Intellectual property

The SweetHolo app, its design, and its original content are owned by us and protected by law.

Trading card names, images, logos, and game content belong to their respective owners (the game publishers and rights holders). SweetHolo isn't affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by them; those references are used to identify cards.

Third-party services

SweetHolo relies on and links to third-party services — including Google (Firebase, Sign-In, Calendar, Sheets, Maps, AdMob), Anthropic, card-data and pricing providers (such as tcgapi.dev, TCGplayer, and eBay), and the app stores. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not ours.

Ads

The free app is supported by ads (Google AdMob). By using the free version, you agree we may show ads, which may use device and advertising identifiers as described in our Privacy Policy.

Tips, purchases, and subscriptions

• Tips and donations are voluntary and non-refundable, and don't entitle you to any goods or services.
• Paid features (such as a future "Pro" plan) and any subscriptions are sold and billed through the app stores under their terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; manage or cancel them in your Apple or Google account.
• Refunds, where available, are handled by the app stores under their policies.

Disclaimers

SweetHolo is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that scans will be accurate, or that card data will be correct or current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, SweetHolo and its operators aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the app, your trades or events, interactions with other users, or reliance on card values or data. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.

Termination

You can stop using SweetHolo and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if these Terms are violated, or to protect the service or its users.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the app changes. We'll update the date at the top, and continued use after changes means you accept them.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which SweetHolo operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled in the courts located there, unless the law grants you a right to your local courts.
