Terms of Service

These Terms are the agreement between you and RemyWare LLC, which develops and runs SweetHolo ("we" and "us"), for using the SweetHolo app and website. By using SweetHolo, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Who can use SweetHolo

• You must be at least 13 years old.
• You need an account to use the app. You're responsible for your account and everything done with it, so keep access to your email and Google account secure.
• We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license, which we can revoke, to use the app for your own collecting.

What SweetHolo is

SweetHolo is a tool to catalog, scan, value, organize and share trading cards across many games, log what you buy and sell at shows, and find card shows. It is not a store, a marketplace, a broker, an appraiser or a financial service, and nothing is bought or sold through it.

Your content

Your collection, photos, notes and everything else you add are yours. You give us the limited, worldwide permission we need to store, process and display them so the app works, including showing them to you and to the people you choose to share with.

You're responsible for what you upload. Don't upload anything illegal, anything that infringes someone else's rights, or anything you don't have the right to share.

Sharing and other people

You choose what to share: your profile, a portfolio, your Favorites or Wants, a show you post, or a Calculator receipt. Shared content can be seen by others, and a shared link shows a small preview on the web. Share only what you're comfortable with. You can stop sharing, remove followers and block accounts at any time.

Shows, deals and meeting people

Card shows, trades, sales and meetups happen directly between people. SweetHolo isn't part of them, doesn't check people, cards, prices or venues, and isn't responsible for them. A show listed in the app is posted by its organizer or another user; check the details with the organizer before you go.

Use good judgment: meet in safe, public places, check what you're trading, and follow the rules of the venue or show. You deal with other people at your own risk.

Acceptable use

Please use SweetHolo fairly. Don't:

• break the law, or use the app to harm, harass, spam, scam or impersonate anyone;
• scrape, bulk-download, resell or redistribute our card data, pictures or prices, or access the service with scripts, bots or a modified copy of the app;
• try to disrupt, probe, reverse-engineer or get unauthorized access to the service, or get around its limits or Pro features;
• upload malware or infringing content, or misuse following, sharing or shows.

Card values are estimates, not financial advice

Prices, values, price history and sales data in SweetHolo are estimates gathered from third-party sources. They're provided "as is", with no promise that they're accurate, complete or up to date, and some days may have no data.

They're for your reference only and aren't financial, investment, tax or appraisal advice. We're not a licensed financial advisor. Don't rely on them alone for buying, selling, insuring or other money decisions.

Scanning

The scanner matches photos to cards on your phone and can get it wrong. Check each match before you save it.

Intellectual property

The SweetHolo app, its design and its original content belong to us and are protected by law.

Trading card names, pictures, logos and game content belong to their owners (the game publishers and other rights holders). SweetHolo isn't affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by them; they're shown to identify cards.

Third-party services

SweetHolo uses and links to services run by others, including Google (Firebase, Sign-In, Calendar, Sheets, Maps, AdMob), Apple, RevenueCat, card-data and price sources (tcgapi.dev, TCGPriceLookup, TCGplayer), eBay, the grading companies, and the app stores. Your use of those services is covered by their own terms and privacy policies, not ours.

Ads

The free app is supported by ads from Google AdMob, which may use your device's advertising identifier as described in our Privacy Policy. Pro members don't see ads.

SweetHolo Pro

• Pro is an optional subscription, monthly or yearly, sold and billed by the App Store or Google Play under their terms. The price is shown in the app before you buy.
• Free trial: where offered, a new subscription starts with a 7-day free trial. Unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it turns into a paid subscription and you're charged.
• Renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancel any time in your Apple or Google account's subscription settings (deleting the app doesn't cancel it). You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies.
• We may add, change or remove Pro features and change prices for future periods. A price change won't affect a period you've already paid for, and the stores tell you before a new price applies.

Disclaimers

SweetHolo is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't promise the app will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that scans will be right, or that card data will be correct or current.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, RemyWare LLC and the people who run SweetHolo aren't liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss from your use of the app, your deals or shows, dealings with other people, or reliance on card values or data. Where liability can't be excluded, it's limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (if anything).

Ending your use

You can stop using SweetHolo and delete your account at any time in Settings (see our Privacy Policy for what deletion does). Deleting your account doesn't cancel a Pro subscription; cancel it in your Apple or Google account. We may suspend or end an account that breaks these Terms, or to protect the service or the people who use it.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the app changes. We'll update the date at the top and let you know in the app about significant changes. If you keep using SweetHolo after a change, you accept the new Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New York, unless the law gives you the right to use your local courts.
